Saffron's food and service is best in town. I tried three indian resturants in greensville and best from all of these is saffron, their dinner is excellent. I tried four dishes and all of them were excellent. Their service is best, really caring.

I do not want to be mean because the staff at Saffron is very nice, but the food is just not good. I ordered Shrimp Korma and Chicken Saag, and both were truly disappointing. I have had Indian food from a variety of places in NY, Boston, and Denver, and I honestly have to say this was some of the worst out of all of those. The Korma lacked any flavor at all, to the point where it was almost impossible to tell it was Korma. The Saag was also very bland. The appetizers I ordered were acceptable, but the main dishes left a lot to be desired. Perhaps the kitchen just had an off night, but I am going to go elsewhere for my Indian food from now on.

Great food. Beyond great service. A must try and try again! The servers acted like we were top priority despite the large party on the other side of the restaurant and the food was just outstanding.

We lived in England for 2 years and had more than our share of Indian Cuisine in various places. Saffron has succeeded in achieving a superb balance of relaxed dining, excellent quality and reasonable price. The service was quick and polite, and food was absolutely delicious!! Highly recommended to anyone wanting a very enjoyable and tasty dining experience!
